Sumburgh to North Roe Walk

A new project! I have decided to get back outside and sketch more often. Despite it being a not-so-wise idea to start in the midst of Winter, I’m going to walk the length of the Shetland mainland over however many Sundays it takes. At this point, I’m not worried how long it is going to take as I want to be able to spend time sketching (or taking photographs when it’s not feasible to be standing on a cliff edge with pencil and paper).

Whatever the weather I’m going to drag myself out on New Year’s day to Sumburgh head and hopefully find something nice.

All being well, my husband is going to act as taxi driver as I do the walk. We’ll see how long that lasts…
